Chris Hewitt
General Manager
Chris Hewitt serves as the General Manager of Crisp County Power Commission and is responsible for the oversight of the daily operations of the Power Commission, a public entity created under the Georgia Constitution, and the development and recommendation of short- and long-range plans, objectives, goals, and estimated budgets to maintain adequate power supply, a sufficient physical plant, efficient operations methods, and sound fiscal management. He has more than 17 years of utility experience and has been with Crisp County Power Commission since 2006. Before being appointed as the General Manager in April 2023, he served as the Technical Services Manager. Since joining Crisp County Power Commission in 2006, Chris has worked in various capacities of the organization as a lineman, engineer, engineering supervisor, and technical services manager.
Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Liberty University. Chris currently serves on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Cordele-Crisp County Agri-Industrial Board of Directors, and the Crisp County IDA Board of Directors.
